About PACT Coalition
Who We Are
Community practices serve as vital access points for patients across the United States, playing a pivotal role in delivering innovative medicine across diverse therapeutic areas. Our value is two-fold.
First, we provide equitable, personalized care close to home, minimizing travel and physical strain for patients undergoing intensive treatment. Second, we deliver high-quality care at a significantly lower cost than other settings, offering critical savings to both the healthcare system and, most importantly, the patients themselves.
Despite this value, independent practices are dwindling. Financial pressures and misaligned policies are driving closures and accelerating consolidation into hospital systems.
As the Administration and Congress scrutinize Medicare Part B for cost savings, there is an urgent need for a dedicated, multi-stakeholder coalition to educate policy makers and advance policy. The Patients Access to Community Treatment (PACT) Coalition will be that voice, standing up to protect patient access, maintain reimbursement certainty, and safeguard future innovation.
By leveraging our diverse membership, the Coalition will drive local engagement and highlight the real-world impact these policies have on the viability of independent practices and the patients who depend on them.
To preserve, protect, and promote patient access to high-quality, cost-effective care delivered within the community setting. The PACT Coalition advocates for policy solutions that empower independent providers and ensure that every patient, regardless of zip code, can receive life-saving treatment close to home.
Our Mission
Our Vision at PACT is a healthcare landscape where the provider-patient relationship is paramount, and where independent community practices thrive as the most accessible and affordable option for specialized care.
Patient-Centricity
We believe treatment decisions should be made between a patient and their doctor, not dictated by administrative bureaucracy.
